My Approach
I work with a Humanistic Person-Centred approach also informed by Existential Philosophy. I believe that the client and counsellor relationship is at the core of the therapeutic process, with hope of developing an openness for deeper understanding of emotions, and finding freedom to be who you are.
I work with empathy, developing an understanding of how you experience your world. I believe in working authentically and ethically with transparency and honesty. I feel that trust is within the foundations of the therapeutic relationship, and by working together you can develop your self-awareness – getting to know yourself better, identifying your difficulties and challenges, and in doing so working towards possible change and developing personal growth.
